Head of Data Science  

Job Description:

• Lead and grow a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning engineers
• Understand diverse datasets generated via Zenius apps, payments systems and other clickstream sources and generate insights
• Setup short term, mid term and long term roadmap to deliver superlative user experience
• Be a leading authority on choice of best in class ML models, stack, tools and processes
• Evangelize the need for data science across the organization and educate peers and other leaders in the company of the latest in data science and analytics
• Have a long term engineering bias and not a fan of short cuts to deliver quick wins

Job Qualification:

• Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer science or Engineers from Tier 1 institutes
• 10+ years experience in Data Science and Analytics.
• Proficient in writing maintainable Python code and familiarity with its scientific stack such as numpy, pandas, scikit learn, matplotlib, pytorch, keras
• Demonstrated success in defining goals, formulating approach, building analytical models and continuous optimization.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment located in multiple countries
